Event Details

On 6th December 2025 Beaconsfield Film Society is showing A New Kind of Wilderness (12A). A breathtakingly beautiful film following a family’s existence in the Norwegian wilderness. Running time 84 minutes plus a short Item. Norwegian/English with subtitles. 

Doors open at 6:45 pm at the National Film & Television School Studios, Station Road, Beaconsfield, HP9 1LG for pre -screening refreshments with the programme starting at 7:30 pm prompt (no trailers!). Members pay a reservation charge of £8 which includes a glass of wine or soft drink. Guests pay a reservation charge of £12 and are welcome accompanying a member or by contacting the Beaconsfield Film Society via the website.

 The Beaconsfield Film Society has been screening films since 2008 and is a not-for-profit organisation. We show two films each month, at weekends, and offer a varied programme of styles from across the world. We try to balance mainstream cinema with award winning and arthouse films.
