Miles in Memory

This June walk with family and friends to remember and celebrate the life of a loved one. 

Rennie Grove Hospice Care are delighted to launch their new event, Miles in Memory.​

Miles in Memory is all about reconnecting with loved ones, reflecting on happy memories and making new ones together as you remember and celebrate a loved one’s life.

It’s a unique opportunity to create the perfect, personalised memorial to a loved one with a special walk designed by you and dedicated to them.

We’re inviting families and friends to get together in June to walk a route that holds special meaning for them and for the person whose life they’re celebrating.

Your walk can be as short or long as you like, start and finish wherever you choose and take place at any time of the day (or night!)

Choose your walking companions – and share your plans widely! People might like to get involved even if they don’t want to join the walk. By donating in memory, or sponsoring you, they can make sure those who need our specialist care at the end of life can be supported at home, in the way they choose.

The past year has been tough for us all. Separated from our families and friends – unable to say goodbye to those we love in the way we want to. We hope Miles in Memory will help you reconnect with your loved ones as you remember and celebrate the life of someone special together.

Entry costs £15 which includes a Miles in Memory information pack, butterfly seeds to plant in memory and a branded event t-shirt.
