Join us for a night of fun, food and fundraising on Tuesday 5th March.

The Dinton Hermit, as part of Moogies Pubs, is committed to operating in as sustainable and responsible a way as possible, consciously placing the welfare of their customers, staff, communities and the environment at the forefront of everything they do.

This Quiz is just another way that the team at Moogies are bringing the community together in aid of Pace.

So, gather your friends and family and get swotting up to take part in this fun night!

Maximum of 6 people per team.

Your ticket price of £18.00 pp includes:

  • Traditional shepherd’s pie with a fluffy mash top and seasonal green veg or vegetarian shepherd’s pie made with a pearl barley filling – please specify which you would like when booking, and also notify us of any dietary requirements.
  • A donation to Pace.
  • A contribution to the prize pot that you could win at the end of the night.

What are you waiting for? Join us for a night of fun and support babies, children and young people with a neurodisability like cerebral palsy.

Event Details

For many of the children at Pace just achieving independent mobility is a huge achievement and takes years of practice. Whether it’s taking one step or learning to use a motorised wheelchair the challenges they overcome to be independent are huge. But YOU can help them achieve their goals and transform the lives of children with a neurodisability like cerebral palsy by putting on your own walking shoes and joining us for the 2024 BIG Walk.

Choice of three routes:

  • 18 m – Watlington to Wendover
  • 12 m – Chinnor to Wendover
  • 6 m – Princes Risborough to Wendover

All routes take in the ancient Ridgeway Trail.

Registration takes place at the Wendover Memorial Hall, Wharf Road, Wendover, HP22 6HF.

Parking is available at the John Colet School.

Registration times:

  • 18 m – 7.15 am
  • 12 m – 9.45 am
  • 6 m  – 11.45 am

Shuttle coach departure times to start:

  • 18 m – 8.10 am
  • 12 m – 10.40 am
  • 6 m – 12.30 pm

Walk start times:

  • 18 m – 9.00 am
  • 12 m – 11.15 am
  • 6 m – 1.00 pm

£15 registration fee includes:

  • A BIG Walk t-shirt
  • A medal
  • Water & snacks
  • Support team

By taking part in the BIG Walk, you not only have the opportunity to explore this beautiful countryside in a completely unique way, but you will also be helping us to provide life changing support to the 400 children and young people who access Pace services.

The Superhero Mile

The Superhero Mile is a fun, family friendly event which is open to all ages and abilities – where small steps can make a BIG difference.

Dress as your favourite superhero (optional) and whether you are superman or super gran, we will clap, cheer and support our superheroes as they go around the grounds of the John Colet School.  All in aid of our superheroes at Pace!

Registration takes place at the Wendover Memorial Hall, Wharf Road, Wendover, HP22 6HF.

Parking is available at the John Colet School.

Registration from 1.30 pm

Walk starts at 2.00 pm

£5 registration fee includes:

  • A participants medal
  • Water & snacks
  • Support team
